PHARMACY BALL.
At the Winter Garden last night a very enjoyable ball was held under the auspices of the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand (Canterbury Division). The members of the committee responsible for the success of the ball were Messrs R. Poison (convener), E. Pearcy, E, Harding, J. Shier, jmd J. F. Heyward. Music was supplied by the BaileyMarston Orchestra, and the distribution of many novelties added to the enjoyment of the guests, while an exhibition dance given by Mr and Mrs Leo Bowden was warmly applauded The guests of honour were Mr H A. Papprill, president of the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand (Can terbiiry Division) and Mrs Papprill. Others present' were Mesdames Edward Pearcy, A. Denmead, J. Papps, J. H. Kane. M.
