LICENSED VICTUALLERS.
ANNUAL MEETING OF ASSOCIATION. The annunl meeting of the Canterbury Licensed Victuallers' Association was held yesterday afternoon in the secretary's office, Worcester street. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr R. Nash; vice-presidents, Messrs J. 0. Wallace and T. Aspell; treasurer, Mr J. M. Coffey; committee, Messrs C. Piper, J. C. Rex, H. A. Nicholls, N. Field, J. L. Bennett, H. Anderson; and A. J. Lambert; country members, Messrs T. K. Hickinbottom (Kaiapoi), J. Bisman (Lyttelton), W. M. Nidd (South bridge), T. Hampson (Waikan), and J. McClure (Rangiora). Messrs Hicks and Ainger were reappointed auditors. It was reported that all arrangements for the annual ball on Tuesday next bad been finalised.
