+ DOMAINS BOARD AWAITING A REPORT. The present position regarding the site for the new Art Gallery was explained by the Mayor (Mr J. K-. Archer) tc a representative of Ihb Pbess yesterday. "The Domains Board," Mr Archer said, "is awaiting a report, with draft plan, from Mr S. Hurst Seager. The intention is to make quite clear to the members of the Board what is suggested as to the exact locality andl area, and the type of building proposed to be erected. That report is to be sent to the chairman of tne Board, Mr George Harper, who, on its receipt, will call a special meeting of the Board to consider it."
