WEDDINGS.
C AMPBELL—Mi TEEIt. A very pretty wedding was solemnised at St. James's Church, Riccarton, yesterday afternoon, when May, only child -of' Mr and Mrs Arthur Mate'er, Washdyke, Timaru, and PercivalJ youngest son of Mr and Mrs' Jas. Campbell, Timaru, recently of "Carrick," Kingsdown, were married by tho Rev. Nelson Wright. The bride wore a charming French frock of pale pink georgette beaded with crystal. Her ensemble tulle veil of palest pink was arranged as a mob cap encircled by a wreath of orange blossom and pearls, and she carried a beautiful bouquet of pink and blue hothouse flowers.
She was attended by Miss Dolly Marshal] (Timaru), who wore a frock of delphinium blue georgette embroidered with silver. Her crinoline hat of the same shade was banded with velvet to tone and her bouquet was of blue and pink flowers with streamers of coloured ribbons.
Mr Jack Campbell attended bis brother as best man.
Tho bride's mother wore a frock of amethyst and beige georgette, black repp eoat, and a hat of black georgette with ospreys. She carried a bouquet of mauve and violet flowers. As tho bride left the church she was presented with gold and silver horseshoes by two small girls. Esme Higgett' and Iris Higgins. The reception was held at the Lilac: Lounge, Colombo street, where over sixty guests were entertained, and the usual toasts honoured.
When Mr and Mrs Campbell left for their wedding tour, the bride wore a smart tailored costume of saxe blue relieved with grey, a hat of crocheted grey straw, and a blue wrap trimmed with fox fur.
