HONG-KONG AFFRAY.
ARMED ROBBERS AND POLICE. (BT CABLJ—PMSJ ASSOCIATION—COFTRIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) HONG-KONG, December 7. A sensational shooting affray occurred when the police intercepted a gang of armed robbers. A brisk exchange of shots followed as the gang was chased from street to street. One Chinese constable was killed, and a British sergeant and three Chinese and Indian constables were seriously wounded. One robber was killed and two were wounded and captured.
