EXCITING BOOK SALE. (bi cable—press association—coptrioht.) (australian axd n.z cablj association ) LONDON, December 7. There was an exciting sale .of old books at Sotheby's, when Dr. Rosenback, of Philadelphia, transmitted his bids by wireless telephony. The bidding for two volumes started at £SOO, but the Trans-Atlantic voice went on imperturbably until the volumes were secured at £3OOO, when he rang off.
