DERRY'S MILITARY BAND.
ANNUAL PICNIC. The annual picnic o£ De.rry's Military Band was held at Diamond Harbour during the week-end in beautiful weather, about 400 attending, two steamers being required to transport the crowd; During tho day the band played a .number of selections. Tho enjoyment of the youngsters was completed when each was given a toy. Those responsible for tho success of :the outing were Messrs W- Smith (secretary) and A. Biggs (treasurer), who were assisted by an energetic committee. , The rosults of the races were as follows: Wheelbarrow Kace—Allen and Wilkio 1, Barker and Doylo 2. * Attendance Kace, 75yds—W.
