A jumble salo will be held at the Hibernian Hall on Tuesday. A carnival will be held at Heathcote Valley on Saturday. A Christmas fancy drees ball will be held at the Caledonian Hall on Saturday evening. A sacred concert :n nid of the Lewisham Sisters' Rest House will be held at the Libertv on Sunday evening. The Christchurch Musical Society will hold the third concert of the season on December 21st and 22nd. The primary schools' swimming carnival will be held *at the Municipal Bath* on Friday. , ~ , Evelvn Wliitell will apeak on applied psychology. in the Library to-night.
