PAPANUI FETE.
• A meeting of the Fete Committee fn connexion with the children's playground in Papanui Park was held in the Memorial Hall on Wednesday night. Mr F. W. Sinon presided over a good attendance. Reports of the sales of art union ticket* were regarded as satisfactory. It was decided to hold a euchre party on the night of the drawing of the art union. Messrs Symes and Derrett were appointed a sub-committee to make arrangements. It was left to Mr J. Sturroek to arrange for the band concert in* the, following week. Mesdames E. .Tullett and Pimm reported on the children'* poster and fancy dress dance, ,_ ; .
