CHRISTCHURCH CLUB. The following players - havo been chosen' in the A and B teams to play in tho first match of the season for the Gould Cup, given by Mrs.6.' Gould fast season for competition between the A and B teams of tho Christchurch Polo Club:—
A team: H. Macdonald (1), G. 11. Grigg (2), Major G.-S. Hutton (3), D. W. J. Gould (4). B team: Sir Charles Campbell {}), W. McKcnzic (2), J. IT. Grigg (3), IT. G. Livingstone (4). The B team has a start of 14 goals.
The first tournament of tho season will be played in'Hagley Park on Thursday and Friday of next week for the Tahu Cup. Teams from Amuri and Pareora.are expected to compete.
