AT ENGLISH PARK.
Some very fine racing was seen-at English Park last night on the occasion of'.another evening meeting under the auspices of the North Canterbury Centre of the N.Z. Athletic and Cycling Union. The final of the motorpaced race over five miles was won easily by about half a lap, but the time was quite good. Following were the results: — Half-mile Open Handicap—First heat: L.
