The Court placed Max Linder s daughter in the custody of Maurice Leuvielle, conforming with the provisions of the will and also of Linder s letters. , , , , . . [Max Linder, the film star, shot his wife and then committed suicide. A dispute arose over tlie custody of his daughter Josette, who is heiress to over 1,000,000 francs. The husbands parents based their claim on the contention that Linder died after his wife.]
