PIGEON FLYING.
RACE FROM FEILDING. On Saturday Mr A. Malcolmson, of Fcilding, liberated 112 birds representing 23 members of the Canterbury Pigeon Flying Club. Owing to the hazy weather conditions the birds, with the exception of S. Wiffin's which broke away from the flock to win by an hour and twelve minutes, had a fairly hard fly, under 1000 yards per minute being registered. The following is the result:— Yds. permin. S.
