SIX YEARS ABROAD.
N.Z. MOTOR-CYCLISTS' TOUR,
[THB PBSSS Special Service.]
AUCKLAND, December 6,
Poor but happy, for the reason that they had seen a great deal of the world, two young Aucklanders (Messrs Alfred Morrison and Maurice Woolhouse) returned to Auckland by the Marama to-day. Six years ago the pair set out to see as much of other countries as possible. Their peregrinations on motor-cycles have carried them across four continents.
The pair travelled all over Europe, Great Britain, and the United States, and the east coast of South America, competing, as opportunity offered, in motor-cycle racing. In Australia on their way home they rode from Adelaide to Melbourne. The road was in an execrable condition and badly damaged the machines.
