NEW SECRETARY
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. After a lengthy discussion in committee the Council of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce reported last evening that its activities had been gone into, and a committee set. up to advertise the position of secretary to the Chamber, who would take up his duties on April Ist. The committee would frame a schedule of duties, and put forward the names of six applicants to the ChaniDer.
