ENGLISH PARK STADIUM,
TO-MORROW NIGHT'S SPORTS. The North Canterbury Centre of tho Now Zealand Athletic and Cycling Union will conduct a sports meeting at English Park Stadium to-morrow night, when a wellvaried programme of motor-pacod racing, handicap cycling and running, -will be decided. Motor-paced racing is gaining in popularity each week, and further exciting contests are anticipated. S. A. Jordan, who has been riding prominently this season, will make his debut as a pace follower. Tho draw for pacers is as follows:—First heat: Pacer E. Marra, rider 0. Austin; pacer W. J. Holland, rider W. Mackie; pacer L. J. ScufToll, rider S. A. Jordan.Second heat—Pacer L. J. Scuffell, rider J. Henderson; pacer W. J. Holland, rider W. E. Weir; pacer E. Marra, rider E. Condon. Tho heats will be run over a distance of three miles, and the final over five miles. In addition to the motor paced race a two miles tandem paced scratch race will be held in which the leading riders will be competing. Runners will compete in a 120 yds sprint and a 440 yds flat handicap.
