PIGEON FLYING.

RACE FROM TE KUITI. The Canterbury Pigeon Flying Club conducted a race from To Kuiti on November 261 hj, a distanco of 405 miles air line. The birds wcro liberated by the stationmaster at 12 noon on Saturday, and arrived_ home the following morning. The winning bird, owned by Mr R. Moore, flow the- distance in l*.nrs 25min 20sec, after deducting the hours of darkness. The following is tho result: — _ K. Moore's Qucenic, 955 yards per minute; G. Robertson's No. 184, 9p2;H.
