Grange beat Dunedin by seven wickets, thus gaining a three-point win. In their first innings Grange made 178, and Dunedm 49. Dunedin were put in to bat again, and made 146 (Strang 68). Grange then made 18 for three wickets. . . Albion secured a three-point win against Carisbrook. A feature of the second day s play was a fine innings of 95 by Blunt. Oonrlev £9 and Dickinson 21 were the other principal contributors. Their first innings realised 113, and their second 176. Albion (first iuninss 146) knocked up the required 148 for four wickets (Duncan S3 not out, Yorfath 21). Blunt, three for 31. was tho most successful bowler.

The Victorian batsmen held possession oi tho wicket, providing the South Australians with a day's leather-hunting and piling up a miqhtv score. Rvder gave a brilliant display of hitting, his partnership witu Hendry adding 146 for the third wicicet, Scaife, a voung batsman, ehaped well in making his score. Hartkopf pleased the spectators with his forceful hitting. In association with BlacWe, 140 runs were added to the total. Excepting Gnrnmett, who managed to keer> the runs down, tne visitors made all the bowling appear easy.
