MODEL YACHTING.
The Christcburcb. Model Yacht Club sailed off the fifti and sixth heats of the President's Race at Lake Victoria on Saturday. The wind was light from the north-east. Ten boats competed, under the supervision ol iir 0. B. Ekensteen. Following are the re- *" Fifth" Heat—E. Hodge's Tui (handicap 2min lOsec) 1, A. Semmen's Dolphin (handicap 30sec) 2, W. 6. Kingston's Sans Atout (scr) 3 J L. Buxton's Huia (handicap 4mm 40sec) 4, J. G. Firth's Oeo (handicap 6min 20sec) 5. Time, 31Jmin. , Sixth Heat— Dolphin 1. Huia 2, Tui 3, H Semmen's Annis (handicap Imm lOsec) 4,' Sans Atout 5. Time, 28imin. The final heats will be Failed next Saturdav. The present position of the boat* is: Tui and Dolphin 24, Armis 21, Sans Atout 12, and Huia 8.
