RIFLE SHOOTING.
CBJRISTCHURCHCLUB. The Cfcrietchurch Defence Rifle Club fired their second short-range competition at Hodcliffs on Saturday afternoon, in fine weather. The conditions were 10 shots each at 500 and 600 yards, with two optional sightere. The 800T6B were as follows:

The Kaiapoi Defence Rifle CVub fired its second Ashby Cnp competition on Saturday afternoon, the conditions being seven sliots at 300 yds, 500 yds, and 600 yds. The following were the leading scores: —
