NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
A carnival will bo held at the Hea'.licole Domain on Saturday afternoon, with a tarty and dance to follow. A Continental will be held at the Lcwisham Hospital grounds on Saturday, in aid of the Sisters' Rest-house. A cycling and running programme will be held' at English Park Stadium on Wednesday. The Merivale Football Club's annual picnic will be held at Waihora Park on Sunday. The All Sports' Assembly dance will be held «t the Rolleston street Hall to-night, with the second heat of the Christmas foxtrot competition.
