In tho House of Representatives, the Public Works Act Amendment Bill and the Imprest Supply Bill No. 6 were introduced and read a first time. The Imprest Supply Bill, which provided for an appropriation of £1,254,000 in payment of salaries and other charges, was put through all its stapes without debate. The House rose at 12.35 a.m. till 10 a.m. ,
