WOMEN IN INDUSTRY.
TO THE EDITOR 0? THE PRESS. Sir,—l have been taking much interest in the correspondence concerning "The Education of Women." It is plain to be seen that "E.S." has had little experience in the matter, or. as "Superior" says, possesses very out-of-date ideas. If domestic duties would absorb all women who must earn their own living, that is not to say that all women are willing to be absorbed by domestic duties, even though there may not be enough women willing to take them up. There is always a mother, or a motherly friend, who is willing to teach the inexperienced girl how to run a home economically and well, if she is willing to learn. Divorces are seldom caused through lack of help in the home, but through lack of interest in husband and wife, the home, and the welfare of the children. All women do not propose to be wives, and the world could not do without some who aro not. —Yours, etc., V.M.A.
