Music lovers in Christchurch arc to be favoured with another performance by the Combined Choir, under the baton of Mr V. C. Peters. On this occasion the choir of 150 voices will give Mendelssohn's oratorio

"Elijah." The soprano part will be taken by Madame Winnie Fraser, the contralto by Miss A. Vinsen, the tenor by Mr L. C. Qnane, and the bass by Mr L. Craig. Two performances will be given in the Oxford terrace Baptist Church (kindly lent for the occasion) on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 13th and 14th respectively.
