ATHLETICS.
NEW SOUTH WALES TEAM. [THE PRESS Special Service.] WELLINGTON, November 29. A strong team of athletes is to visit the Dominion for tlio coming Australian and New Zealand Amateur Athletic Championships, which commence at 'Wellington on December 26th. It is announced by the New Zealand A.A.A. that the following team has been chosen by New South Wales to make the journey to New Zealand:—K. 11. Scott (hurdles), W. Hunt, S. A. Mola, and Jimmy Carlton (sprints), K. D. Norman, A. Norman, and C. S. Stuart (middle distance), G. Parker (walks), A. W. Winter (hop, step, and jump and field events), and D. Mackay (broad jump). E. 11. Scott is the present Australian and New Zealand champion for the 120 yds nnd "20yds hurdles; B. D. Norman holds the championship over a quarter of a milo flat; W. Hunt is the Now South Wales champion over 220 yds and 440 yds; Winter is one of the best men in field events in the world, and gained a place in the jumps at the last Olympic Games, while Jimmy Carlton is a schoolboy who has recently mado some very fast times.
