ARBITRATION AMENDMENT

SUPPORT BY FARMERS' UNION

Commendation of the action of the Erime Minister (the Bight Hon. Mr Coates) in the attitude ho has taken up in regard to the Arbitration Amendment Bill was expressed at yesterday's meeting of the North Canterbury district of the New Zealand Farmers' Union. The chairman (Mr E. T. McMillan) said that the Union would support the Government in the measure, as it exempted farmers from the operations of the Arbitration Court.
