BRITISH WOOL TRADE.
STRIKE FEARED. (BT CABLE—PBSSS ASSOCIATION—COPSBIQHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLI ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, November 23. Apprehension prevails at Bradford over the wool trade deadlock on tho wages dispute. Employers and employees have accepted a permanent Joint Committee to deal with conditions in the industry, but the employers stipulated for the acceptance beforehand of a reduction in wages. The Trade Unions rejected this and suggested arbitration, which the employers refused, though it is reported that many employers disapprove a rejection of arbitration. The present wage agreements expire at thr; end of the week. <
