It is learned that an examination of the Port Caroline's cargo shows that the contents of No. 2 hold are badly damaged by Bea water. There were 8000 carcases of mutton, 8000 crates of cheese, and 30,000 boxes of | butter in the hold. The question of insurance liability is under discussion.
