Butter—Firm; 176 ato 178s per cwt. Cheese—Firm; stored, 103s to 104s per owt; new season's, 98s to 100s per cwt. Frozen Meat—The market is well supplied witli wether mutton. Ewes are firm, but little business doing. The market is weaker for second quality lamb; first grades remain steady. There is a fair demand for beef. Wethers: Light, 5Jd to 6Jd per lb; heavy, 5d to 5Jd. Ewes: 4d to 4Jd. Lambs: 2s, 9Jd to 9id; Bs, 9Jd to 9Jd; 4s, BJd to 9d; seconds, Sid to BJd; Argentine, "id to 9d.
