RECHABITE LODGE.
The fortnightly meeting of the Pride of Ckristchurch Tent was held in the Y.M.O.A. Concert Hall, when Deputy O.K. Bro. P. Long presided. Two candidates were initiated into the Order. The report on the quarterly meeting of the Canterbury Provincial Council, held recently at Ashburton, was given by Ero. G. Spiers and Sis. G. Hastings. The reports were received and adopted, and the delegates thanked. Bro. C. H. Bascand reported on the business done at the last meeting of the Bazaar Committee. A letter waß received from the Canterbury Provincial Council inviting the Tent to be present at the evening service to be held in the Church of Christ, Moorhonse avenue, on Sunday next. It was decided to accept the invitation. Notification was reecived that the Provincial Council's picnic to Stewart's Gully would have to be postponed until February 4th. An invitation was received from the Enterprise Tent for a visit on November 29th, The invitation was accepted. The quarterly balance-sheet was submitted. It showed the Tent to be in a strong financial position. Af the conclusion of the business a programme of vocal and ' instrumental items was given by Misses Till and Cahley, Messrs Goode, Miln, and "W. and A, Gray.
