Shannon, travelling secretary of the Young Women's Bible Union, delivered an address before the Presbyterian General Assembly last night, on" the work of young people, traversing her subject fully, and her remarks drew many rounds of applause at frequent intervajp. Prior to the address, Mrs McKay, president of the Young Women's Bible Class, presented a charming bouquet of roses to Mrs Aitken, the wife of the Moderator.
