SUCCESSFUL BENEFIT CONCERT

* A successful benefit concert, in aid of the Sisters of the Mission building fund, was held in the Liberty Theatre last night. The concert was organised by Mesdames J. S. Temple and Hall. The collection amounted to £l9. Following was the programme:— Instrumental (banjo and mandolin), Messrs Skinner and Birch; song, Mr P. Jones; duet, Misses Greenlees and Cater; recitation, Mrs J. S. Temple; song. Mr Leslie Scrimshaw; violin solo, Madam Rutter; song, Miss Flood; musical monologue, Mr Laurenson: song. Mrs L. Scrimshaw; song, Mr Give Hindle; recitation, Mr J. Darragh; musical monologue, Miss A. Greenlees; duet, Mr and Mrs L. Scrimshaw; instrumental (banjo and mandolin). Messrs Skinner and Birch, iliso I. Sheenan was the accompanist.
