CAR OVER BANK.

A MIRACULOUS ESCAPE. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) TAUMAKUNTJI, November 20. Near Ongarue to-day a car containing four adults and three children, driven by J. Jones, went over a bank into the river. The car was badly damaged, but the occupants, though injured, miraculously escaped death. Jones and N. Christianson and one of the children were rendered unconscious temporarily, but recovered later. Two of Jones's children suffered painful body injuries. Mrs Christianson has a sprained ankle and bruises.
