CHOLMONDELEY MEMORIAL HOME.
TO THE EDITOR OV THE MESS. Sir —I am most anxious, before leaving New Zealand, to clear the Gholmondeley Memorial Home for Com ale - cent Children from debt, and I think that many kind people would be glad to send a subscripts when they hear that the Homo is m need of funds. We had hoped to raise the money by our American tea, held some time ago in the Jellicoe Hall, but unfortunately the rain came down in torrents. \Vo are making another effort to raise the money by a bridge party in the Jelhcoe Hall on Thursday night, Novembei 34th, at 7.30 p.m. Will anyone help the Home by undertaking a table or four people—each paying 2s Cd or t» sendinglOs to mo at the Deanery before the 24th? Each head of a table is responsible for cards and' supper, tea being provided. Will some of your readers help to mako this effort a great success?— Y °" rS 'CONSTANCE CAMUXfrTON, President, C.M.O.C. The Deanerv. Christchurch, Nov. 18th, 1027.
