TJic Heathcote County Council has received information that the Highways Board's estimates provide £250 (£1 for £1; for Dyer's Pass road, from th« tramway terminus upwards. At last night's meeting of the Council, tho chairman instructed that Mr F. W. Freeman, who is preparing the plans, be asked to complete them as soon as possible, as it is desired to go on with the work.
