THE WOOL TRADE.

INCREASED DOMINION OUTPUT. [THE PRESS Special Service.] WELLINGTON, November 18. Shearing operations are fairly general throughout the Dominion just now, but the wool is coming off somewhat slowly owing to the wet weather. Mr J. G. Cook, the Government Wool Instructor, stated to-day that the quality of the wool this year was quite up to the high grade of last season, though in the high country lying to the cold winds the wool was inclined to be a bit cotty. There would, he said, be an increased amount of wool this year owing to the fact that the Dominion had now close upon 750,000 more sheep.
