PENINSULA SHOW.
A FINE DISPLAY. The Peninsula Horse Show and Pastoral Association held their annual show yesterday The weather was ideal and the gate takings revealed ft record attendance. There was a full array of eide-ehows and firms giving demonstrations. The horse classes were°on a par with the usual Peninsula exhibits, but the cattle showed a decrease in entries on former years, and the general quality was not as good as usual. The junior classes for school work were fewer than usual, but the qookery section fully maintained its high standard, whilst the farmers' produce, which included vegetables, was a credit to the exhibitors considering the late season. .... A dance conduced by the Association in tho evening was a great success and was largely attended by Peninsula residents and visitors. The prize-list is as follows: HORSES. Hackney yearling: L.
