INTOXICATED MOTORIST.

*. (FBJS9S ASSOCIATION TWJSOBAJI.) MARTON, November 18. George McLeod Ross, described by the police as a bird of passage, who was found intoxicated in charge of a motorcar last evening, appeared before Justices this morning. The police stated that accused was not drunk, but was not in a fit condition to drive the vehicle, on which at the time of his arrest he was attempting to mend a puncture. Accused previously had been convicted of a similar offence at Ngaruawahia, and had his license cancelled. To-day he was fined £o, and for driving without a license was convicted and discharged.
