Sir James Parr, speaking at the Commercial Motor Vehicles Exhibition lunch at Olympia, expressed .the opinion that a six-wheeler would save 33 per cent, of road wear. New hope had been aroused by the discovery of a means of propulsion by gas derived from charcoal and cow manure. Sir James Parr reiterated that attention to Dominion needs would reduce the present expenditure of £15,000,000 on foreign vehicles by Australia and New Zealand.
