\ s. CONDITIONS I.—The Competition is open to ladies of Christchurch and district. Entrance forms may be obtained at any of our Piece Goods Departments. 2. —The materials used in making the costumes entered in this Competition must have been purchased from "The Farmers," and the cost not to exceed 15s. 3.—Costumes must be suitable for wear to a Fancy Dress Carnival. 4.—Charge dockets for materials purchased must be attached to entrance form. This must be filled in and signed by the Competitor and returned to— THE DRAPERY MANAGER, N.Z. Farmers Co-op. Association, Christchurch. not later than Monday, November 28th. s.—The public present will be the Judges, and prizes awarded on popular vote. Scrutineers will be appointed to count the votes, and their decision must be accepted by competitors as final. 0, —Ballot papers will be available, and distributed to all persons over sixteen years of age in the establishment on Friday Evening, December 2nd, prior to the commencement of the Parade. 7.—Employees of The N.Z. Fanners Co-op. are ineligible to compete, as also are professional Dressmakers. B.—Competitors will arrive in costume. A Cloak Room will be provided. 9.—Competitors will assemble in our Tea Rooms on Friday Evening, December 2nd, at 7.30 sharp, where numbers will be issued, and join in the Grand Parade through the Store, returning to the Tea Rooms, where the results of the voting will be announced.
