* CYCLIST INJURED. (CHESS 1830CU.TI0K TSLSGHAU.) NAPIER, November 17. When Ernest Shatton, of 34 Hardinge road, Port Aliuriri, attempted to pass between a Government bus and a car on the Awatoto road to-night, he became jammed and struck the car. The driver of the car had no warning of the cyclist's presence, as the- latter shot out from behind the bus. Shatton was sent to hospital with a fractured i' s g, a fractured wrist, and facial injuries. His condition is not serious.
