LIFE-SAVING.
NORTH BEACH CLUB. That summer time is having a beueficial effect on surf bathing is shown by the fact that the North Beach Surf Club has received an entry of seven teams for the Ward Cap competition. This is a three-man rescue event, and is to be competed for on the club's opening day, November 26th. The following are the teams:—No. 1: C. K. Riordan (beltman), A. Harvey (reel and resuscitation), D. Snell (subject). No. 'J: W. E. Brough (B), C. Mitchell (R. and R.), G: Wilson (S.), No. 3: L. C. Hill (B.), A. Dalton (R. and R.), S. Henry (S). No.. 4: R. Dawson (B), A. Brand (R. and R.), K. Brand (S). No. 5: R. Floyd (B.), F. J. L. Scott (R. and R.), G. Malcolmson (S.). No. 6: J. Breward (B.). J. Scott (R. and R.), G. Dew (S.). No. 7: 0. Tregear (S.), D. Wilson (R. and R.), A. Gallatly (6.).
