REVISED PRAYER BOOK.
SIR W. JOYNSON-HICKS'S AT.TITUDE. (BT CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION— COPYRIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) 'LONDON, November 13. Sir W. Joynson-ilicks, who is expected to be the Evangelicals' chief spokesman when the Revised Prayer Book is before Parliament, has sent an important memorandum to the Parliamentary Ecclesiastical Committee, opposing ratification on the ground that it cannot be a final revision, as the bishops have not undertaken to enforce obedience, to it. Therefore it will inevitably be used as a jumping-off ground for further demands by the aavocates of Romanising practices.
