An unsuccessful attempt was made to assassinate General Obregon, a Presidential candidate. His cheek was cut by flying glass, when the windshield of his automobile was shattered by two bombs throwri* as he was driving to a bull-fight to-day. The two bombers were shot and seriously wounded.
