POLITICAL SPLIT.

THREAT TO GOVERNMENT. (bx cablb—prbss association—copyright.) (australian and n.k. cable association.) (Beceived November 14th, 8.20 p.m.) MELBOUENE, November 14, The split in the Victorian Parliamentary Labour Party threatens the existence of the Government. A number of Labour members have signed a round robin asking for a special meeting of the caucus to-morrow to review the legislation proposed by Cabinet, particularly in relation to income-tax. The Premier has already intimated that unless the rank and file of the Party are prepared to support the Government's proposal he will resign the leadership of the Party, which will also involve the resignation of the Premiership.
