INCREASE IN 1 NAVAL EXPENDITURE. (BT CABLE—PBESS ASSOCIATION—COPSBIGHT.) (ATJSTBALIAH AND K.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) TOKIO, November 13. In round figures 1,800,000,000 yen constitutes the final Cabinet estimate of the Japanese Government expenditure budget for 1928-29. Publications to-day give 1,750,000,000 yen, including an 84,000,0QQ yen increase for the Navy. It is expected that additional expenditure, such as tenant farmers' relief, will add at least another 50,000,000. The main round figures in millions are:—War 225,000,000 yen; Navy, 264,000,000 yen; Finance, 400,000,000 yen; Education, 144,000,000 ven; Communications, 350,000,000 yen; Commerce. 13,000,000 yen; and Foreign Affairs, 25,000,000 yen.
