HUNGARIAN BONDS FRAUD.
SOVIET BLAMED. (by cable-»-rress association—copyright.) (Sydney "Son" See vice.) (Received November 14th, 7.45 p.m.) LONDON, November 13. The Paris correspondent of the "Daily Mail" says:—"The hand of the Soviet has pulled the strings for £1,000,000 worth of Hungarian Bond's. The plot is causing a sensation on the Continent. The plotters arranged for the Bonds to be smuggled out of Hungary and fraudulently stamped with the marks of Anglo-French Banks to render them negotiable on a gold basis. Six arrests have been made, including Herr Josef Biumenstein, a Viennese banker millionaire, M. Pierre Lacaze, an ex-French Consul in San Francisco, M. Boris Tobvani, a Rumanian, and allegedly a Soviet agent.
