METHODIST SYNOD.
The ministerial session of the North Canterbury District Synod of the Methodist Church of New Zealand will be held in the Durham street Church this morning and will be presided over by tho Kev. William Greenslade, chairman of the district. ihe representative session will open Vitn the Communion service to-morrow morning in the Durham street Church. It is expected that over eighty representatives and ministers will attend. Manv important public questions will be discussed, including tho attitude of the Methodist Church towards war, the Bible in schools, gambling, and the Licensing Bill.
