STRAND THEATRE.
"The Shock" is the leading picture at the Strand Theatre this week. This is exciting melodrama with' Lon Chaney, the incomparable character actor, in the leading role as a cripple. Supporting him is Virginia Valli, who takes the part of a wealthy girl against whom w underworld gang seek vengeance on account of a wrong her father committed. "Sally, Irene, and Mary" tells conjointly of the life of three Broadway girls, Sally who lovee her elderly "papa,' Irene who loves without considering the price, and Mary, who lovee a plumber and a good time. Pally O'Neill ia Mary, an enchanting rogue, and Constance Bennett playa Sally, The ninth episode of "The Return of the Riddle Rider" is screened with other supports.
