For the white walls of to-day's bathroom, sorno firms supply water-colour prints sealed in steam-tight- mountings and framed with thin ivory white headings, These, however, are in the nature of luxuries, and the question in most bathrooms is to find a suitable mat to correct the chilliness of the ' white-tile or "gn<nite" finished floor. Rubber mats are apt to be as cold as the floor that they cover, while carpet rugs are soon spoiled with water. Quite suitable, however, and most artistic, are the new Durograss rugs, thick woven and springy. It is wise, however, to see that the rugs offered are genuine Durograss. —6
